June - July Native to North Africa, Western Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe. Adonis annua was added to the UK Biodiversity Action Plan Priority List in 2007 as being endangered. The seeds are large, similar in size and shape to a grape pip, 3.5mm x 4.5mm, and weighing between 5mg and 10mg. |
